🌎As we come through the Thanksgiving weekend, let's hold gratitude for being Human; let's hold gratitude for our Humanity.
In a time when it can be quiet challenging to see the good in each other, and in Humanity in general, it is good to remember that what we desire is held within ourselves. Let's remind ourselves of the potential we hold as a species, as a collective.
🍁Humanity holds within itself the divinity it desires. Humanity holds within itself all of the compassion and kindness it desires. Humanity holds within itself all of the support it desires. Humanity holds within itself the ability to create the safety it desires. Humanity holds within itself the dept of connect with it each that it desires. We simply have to express all of this to ourselves and to each other, and we will create the safe, comforting, compassionate, and supportive that we all crave and desire. May we all be held and blessed and learn to connect with each other. May we find our humanity in ourselves and discover it in each other. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.🍁

We will find our divinity in our humanity.

It’s not in a place you go after you die. It’s not in another dimension. It’s not on another plane of existence. It’s not on some other planet. It’s right here, right now, a part of us. Our divinity is in our humanity.

How does one go from idolizing an archetype like Jesus and his demonstration of some of the best qualities of being human, such as compassion, kindness, charity, and love, to idolizing and emulating someone who demonstrates some of the worst qualities of being human? And then, holding the belief that serving a corrupt master, and worshiping a false idol will take them to the good place?  Can we please just go back to loving thy neighbor, feeding the hungry, providing shelter to those who need it, and emulating the best qualities of being human? Thank you.

I hope your religion inspires you to be the best human. I think that’s what religion is therefore. Leave the science to the scientist. Leave history to historians. Leave engineering to the engineers. Leave astronomy to the astronomers are able to measure how old the universe appears to be. Let your religion inspire kindness, compassion, and the ability to see that we are all connected and we are all one.
