The OCOM Herbal Medicinary is now shipping self-care kits for pain management, home moxa, and acupressure based on referral. Existing patients who are Oregon residents are invited to have a telehealth appointment with a licensed practitioner faculty and students through an online Zoom session. Thanks to a grant from Kaiser Permanente Hospital Foundation, telehealth visits are currently free to our patients. Herbs and home care kits are an additional cost beyond the consultation.

OCOM Clinic and OCOM Hollywood Clinic are closing beginning tomorrow, Saturday, March 14, 2020, until the start of Spring quarter on April 6, 2020.

While we will maintain a very small team of essential staff intermittently on campus, most work will be done remotely during this time. The campus will be closed to students and patients effective Monday, March 16, 2020 through April 5, 2020. We plan to re-open the clinic at the start of Spring quarter on April 6, 2020.

Patients Needed! This month’s focus is oncology. We are looking for Cancer patients at any stage in their process from diagnosis to recovery, suffering from any side effects from treatment of Cancer.

We have openings for patients in both the DAOM Clinic Theater on Saturday December 14th and DAOM Clinic on Sunday December 15th.

2 spots are open in Clinic Theater where you are interviewed in the classroom setting by a Physician as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner. This month Dr. Judith Boice, ND, LAc.. Dr. Boice will be interviewing these patients. She is deeply trained in both western and Chinese medicines. She is also an award-winning author, international teacher, and a member of the National Speakers Association. She worked as a naturopathic oncology provider at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Southwestern Regional Medical Center.

Due to continuing freezing temperatures and icy road conditions, OCOM college and clinics are closed all day Tuesday February 5.

Due to increasing precipitation and slippery commuting conditions, OCOM will open with a late start at 11AM on Tuesday 2/5 for the College. Clinic shifts are expected to meet as scheduled in the afternoon. All classes and meetings with start times before 11AM are cancelled. We will keep our eyes on the evolving weather situation.
