Feeling so blessed by this life, by all the magical beings, plants, and people I am in connection with, all the surprising and unexpected ways in which life is always unfurling and shape shifting, and the ways I’m learning how to dance with change.

Thank you for learning alongside me and all the ways in which you continue to deepen your own relationship with earth, the spirits of the plants, yourself, and the magic of life. This is truly the greatest gift of all to me!

October has my heart! My birth month, the liminality, the whispers of the ancestors on the wind, the medicinal berries of elder, hawthorn, rowan…. So much beauty in the change. So much beauty in the dying.

Let us not forget to honor the deaths in our lives before we head forth to new beginnings.

Let us not forget to let our aspects of the old decompose so we can be fed by the decay-turned-compost.

Let us honor the beauty of the surrender and the turning inwards towards the heart of hearts of our inner sanctum.

In 2018 I got to visit one of the oldest and largest living organisms on Earth, Pando. An ancient Aspen grove in Utah, estimated between 16,000 - 80,000 years old!!

I’d already developed a significant relationship with Aspen (beginning in 2009), so this pilgrimage was an incredibly spiritual and meaningful one for me.

Aspen has been one of the primary initiators for me on my plant and priestess path, and has been a steadfast guide for me over these past 16 years.

I’m so excited to share her medicine with you in the Plant Wisdom Circle tomorrow 💚

This program changes people.

And I believe a big part of that is the alchemy of people who come together to as community to walk beside one another on this journey.

Carl Jung said, “Loneliness does not come from having no people around you, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to you.”

When we gather together with other folks who also know and feel the world is alive, who understand the depth with which you also feel, who understand what it’s like to be sensitive in an insensitive world, who are also mystical and witchy beings, there is true magic that happens.

We get to come out of hiding.

We get to remember our wholeness. We get to weave ourselves back into the consciousness of Earth. And, we remember the magic of being a body on the Earth.

The next Plant Wisdom Circle is happening this Friday , and we’ll be sitting with Chamomile!

Chamomile is often sought-after for her calming presence, helping soothe anxiety and bring about a more peaceful and harmonious state in the body, mind, and spirit.

As we approach Autumn Equinox, this medicine can help us transition from the fast-paced and heat-fried months of Summer, and move us towards a gentler way of being.

I’m really excited to sit with Chamomile, as I’ve never sat in circle with her before, and I am guessing she’s gonna have A LOT to say.
