All of my testing is finally completed. Now my case will be presented to the Transplant Committee. I don't know what the timeline is on this. I'll probably hear something in the next couple of weeks.

Here is something that I read this week: Every 9 minutes another patient is placed on the Liver Transplant List. Every day, 17 people die because they don't receive the liver they need.

I'm saying this because I am not the only person that needs a Liver Transplant. If you've considered screening as a donor, please continue. There are a lot of people in need. Sharing your healthy Liver could give someone a new life!

Did you know that there is a need for more livers than the Transplant List can provide? That's why we ask for living donors. They will take a piece of your liver and replace mine with it. The amazing part is that the Liver will grow back in both of us!

If you don't feel that you'd be a good candidate, that's okay! Help me spread the word. Share this post on your social media. Remember to use: .
