In case you didn’t know, I’m a fat trans non-binary eating disorder recovery and adhd coach. I also just graduated with my MSW this past June. And I’d love some support for this webinar!

I personally know how horrible the gatekeeping is around top and bottom surgeries. I had an eating disorder for most of my life which is why I’m so passionate about this stuff.

This month’s is all about weight loss injection drugs (ozempic, wevovy, mounjaro), and informed consent. It’s $20 and I send out the recording afterwards.

It’s geared towards anyone wanting to know the truth about the drugs. I decided to do all the research, so others didn’t have to go digging through it all on their own. Or try the meds without knowing the risks.

If you want to be informed about the side effects, this is for you!

Here’s the registration link! Let me know if you have questions.

I was about 2 years into being an eating disorder recovery coach when I realized that all of my clients had ADHD or ADHD and ASD.

Now that I've been coaching for 5 years, I look forward to sharing my practice based experience with you in this webinar that I will be teaching in two weeks!

Explore the distinct treatment considerations that emerge when ADHD co-occurs with disordered eating, chronic dieting, or eating disorders.

We will discuss the following:

- What is ADHD beyond attention and hyperactivity?

- Assumptions and stigma about ADHD

- The prevalence of misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis

- Why does ADHD create the perfect terrain for disordered eating to thrive?

- A critical review of typical treatment options for ADHD

- Is recovery truly possible for people with ADHD?

Thursday, August 31st

12pm PST | 3pm EST

Cost: $20.00

This is the ADHD & Eating info that you never got in graduate school or from your previous mental health providers (diagnosed or not).

Webinar will be recorded on Zoom and sent to everyone who registers within 24 hours.

For more information or to register, visit the RFG website or message me here.

I am very excited to be facilitating a fat provider peer support group for the first time since April 2021!

I had run groups regularly for 3 years and apparently needed a break. Groups are one of my very favorite things to facilitate! Anyways on to the details.

If you’re a fat therapist, coach, doctor, dietitian or a student in a related field, and you are ready for some rad fat conversations with other rad fatties, this group is for you!

We talk about anything from how we are treated by our thin peers to how to talk to clients who perceive themselves as fat but aren’t. And what it's like to provide care around bodies while in (or maybe not in) our bodies.

This group is open to anyone who is fat. If you are unsure about your body size, we can discuss it in a consult call prior to group or you can check in with your friends and/or your own provider to see what they think your external experience in the world is.

We will start on Tuesday, August 16 or possibly on August 23 if that works best for those interested!

7pm PST - 8:30pm PST
$450-700 for 7 weeks

We will have two spots for folks with either a small/new practice or community mental health providers that will be available for a lower cost.

Email or DM me with any questions that you might have. resilientfatgoddex @ gmail . com Especially if you don't see an opening for a consult video call that you can do.

I’ll put the link to my website for registration in the first comment with a little bit more info about me.

Imani is standing with crutches wearing a black and gray striped tunic and sunglasses. At the bottom, “Diversability, .” fills the left corner.

Our Story

Resilient Fat Goddex is a q***r, fat, trans body liberation organization. We are committed to eating disorder awareness, identity affirmation, medical advocacy, body and fat positivity.

The focus of RFG is provide community support to q***r, fat, and/or trans individuals desiring to trust their bodies and have more freedom in their lives. In addition, we provide anti-oppression based eating disorder education within our communities, and for health care professionals.

After leaving their master's of acupuncture program in 2017 due to systemic anti-fat bias and the disordered eating environment in their program, SJ launched RFG out of the desire to transform how fat people are treated in health care, including eating disorder treatment settings. Resilient Fat Goddex has grown to reflect the need for cultural understanding and humility for q***r, fat, and non-binary trans experiences.
