We’re nearing the end of the year and entering the final week of Sagittarius Season and fall. December carries powerful spiritual energy, and it’s no coincidence that nearly 40 sacred religious and spiritual celebrations happen during this time. In the Northern Hemisphere, this is the darkest month of the year, inviting us to turn inward and reconnect with meaning, faith, and hope.

🌍 This time of year creates a powerful collective energy. When millions of people are praying, meditating, lighting candles, singing, and setting intentions at the same time, it creates a mass energetic field. This collective focus on love, peace, and renewal amplifies our emotions and intuition, opening our hearts wide. It’s why December can bring up everything at once: love, nostalgia, grief, gratitude, and longing. It’s both an ending and a beginning. It's a pause between what has been and what’s coming next.

🌑 A major part of this soul-level reset happens with the final New Moon of the year on Friday the 19th, in Sagittarius. This New Moon aligns closely with the Galactic Center, believed to be the heart of the Milky Way. When a New Moon meets this powerful point, it marks a profound energetic reset, where insights, awakenings, and clarity for the next chapter can come through. This New Moon invites us to dream bigger, think bigger, and open ourselves to possibilities we may not have considered before.

🔥 Adding to this forward momentum, Mars moves into Capricorn on Monday, December 15, where it stays until early February. Mars is exalted in Capricorn, meaning our drive, ambition, and ability to take action are at full strength as we step into the next chapter.

December has that almost-there feeling, like we’re standing between two worlds. One foot in the old cycle, one foot in the new, and everything is shifting just beneath the surface. You can feel something bigger moving, preparing us for what’s coming. ✨🌙

This week kicks things up a notch! On December 10, Neptune goes direct for the last time in Pisces in our lifetime, joining Saturn at the very final degree of the zodiac. Both planets are finishing major cycles. It's 13 years for Neptune in Pisces, 30 years for Saturn through all the signs, and an incredible 165-year Neptune cycle. This is huge completion energy and a major turning point. ♓🔮

All of this is building toward “The Big One”, the Saturn–Neptune conjunction at 0º Aries in February. That’s when the new era truly begins. All the emotions: excitement, uncertainty, grief, anticipation, are totally normal as big chapters wrap up. Let the endings create space without rushing to fill it. Trust the process. 💫💗

The Weekly Energy Update Podcast is up!

Sagittarius season just started, and it is no coincidence that Thanksgiving falls right in this uplifting Jupiter-ruled energy. Sagittarius season is all about abundance and optimism, so the whole month naturally feels lighter. It is a perfect backdrop for slowing down, relaxing, and being with the people you love on Thanksgiving.

This year, Thanksgiving week has an extra mellow vibe because five planets, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, are retrograde. Retrogrades are pauses that help us rethink, rework, and bring hidden things to the surface. This reflective energy lasts through Thanksgiving Day, making the week feel slow, soft, and introspective.

Then everything starts shifting the day after Thanksgiving. On Friday, November 28, Saturn goes direct after being retrograde since July. As Saturn switches direction, it brings a big exhale. Delays begin lifting, plans start moving again, and we shift from inner processing to outer action. Because Saturn rules karma, this forward motion can also bring karmic clarity or course corrections as we wrap up this major cycle.

On Saturday, Mercury also goes direct, adding even more forward motion with a little extra potential for travel delays or miscommunications as the energy shifts. And we get another boost when Neptune goes direct on December 10, helping us feel clearer about our purpose. Thanksgiving week is beautifully timed. This week kicks off the cherry on top of the past nine years. Sagittarius Season is officially here! 🎉 We’re nearing the end of a major 9-year cycle, and this month, before the year wraps up, is one of the most uplifting, feel-good times of the whole year. It’s a month of positive energy where we get to enjoy ourselves, indulge a little, reflect, and integrate everything we’ve been through.

But first, we’re finishing some deep Scorpio business. The Sun and Venus are in Scorpio, Mercury retrograde moves into Scorpio this week, and we have a Scorpio New Moon on Thursday, the 20th, so the energy is intense. When multiple planets gather in the same sign, the energy amplifies, and this New Moon is pure, distilled Scorpio. Expect transformation and rebirth.

This New Moon also marks the start of the last full lunar cycle of the year and the past nine years. It’s our chance to begin again. This isn’t about planning yet, it’s about dreaming. Set intentions that start with “I would love” and think about how you want to feel in your next nine-year chapter.

Then, on Friday the 21st, everything shifts as the Sun moves into Sagittarius. The heaviness lifts, optimism returns, and we start laughing again. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of growth and abundance, so this season is all about expansion, adventure, dreaming bigger, and aiming your arrow toward what you want for the next nine years.

This month is your permission slip to rest, play, reconnect, and celebrate how far you’ve come. This week is all about pausing, reflecting, and realigning before we move forward. With two big retrogrades and the powerful 11/11 portal happening back-to-back, the energy helps us course-correct before we enter a brand-new 9-year cycle in January. Mercury Retrograde begins this week, bringing the usual tech glitches, travel delays, and communication mix-ups, but it’s ultimately a cosmic slowdown for clarity and alignment.

Mercury retrogrades back into Sagittarius, shifting the focus from external chaos to our direction in life. Sagittarius rules truth, purpose, vision, and intuition, so don’t be surprised if you start questioning your plans, your goals, or your story. This retrograde asks: “Is the path I’m on still aligned with who I’m becoming?” It’s a time of inner review, realizations, and course-correcting. Remember, if something doesn’t work out, it’s usually because something better is on the way.

Just two days later, Jupiter goes retrograde in Cancer, bringing four months of emotional healing and inner expansion. Mercury retrograde is the mental review, while Jupiter retrograde is the emotional one. During this time, growth is happening from the inside out. Nurture yourself, soften, and ask: “Where do I need to care for myself more so I can grow?”
