Join our growing practice as Licensed Massage Therapist!
LMT position in NE Portland
Turning Pointe Acupuncture + Wellness is looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team! We recently moved into the popular Kerns neighborhood and our 6-year old practice is quickly growing into our larger space! Our clinic is on a waitlist for massage therapy at this time, so we are ready to offer more care to our lovely patients and to expand our team of dedicated and skilled providers.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist. If you have a passion for helping clients achieve wellness, relieve pain, and improve their quality of life, we’d love to hear from you!
We are looking for someone with experience in medical massage and a strong base of knowledge in anatomy and kinesiology. The ideal candidate will enjoy working collaboratively as part of a holistic healthcare team, be passionate about inclusive patient care, dependable, and motivated to grow with our practice. LMTs trained in lymphatic drainage massage, Thai massage, and/or craniosacral are a big plus.
About the Clinic:
We are a busy practice located in the heart of the Kerns neighborhood. We have a beautiful clinic with 6 treatment rooms, a large reception area, a movement studio, staff kitchen and break room, dedicated parking lot, and retail space for herbs, supplements, and a variety of self care tools. We have a wonderful practice manager and four amazing practitioners, both acupuncturists and massage therapists and share our beautiful clinic with a physical therapy practice. We operate as a general practice and see patients for many conditions, in addition to preventative medicine. We offer acupuncture, massage therapy, manual therapy, cupping therapy, gua sha, herbal medicine, and weekly group classes.
About this position:
Position: Licensed Massage Therapist
Location: Turning Pointe Acupuncture + Wellness on NE Flanders St.
Schedule: 3 - 4 days per week, including one weekend day

Full administrative, scheduling, credentialing, and billing services are provided.
Responsibilities:
Provide therapeutic and medical massage treatments tailored to individual client needs
Collaborate with clients to assess specific areas of discomfort or medical concerns
Maintain a professional, clean, and safe work environment
Educate clients on continued care, such as stretching, strengthening, and/or relaxation techniques
Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism
Maintain up-to-date EHR/chart notes for every patient/client
Requirements:
Valid and current Oregon Massage Therapy license and practice insurance
Priority given to candidates currently in network with one or more insurance companies. The clinic will sponsor credentialing with our full suite of accepted insurance plans.
Knowledge of medical massage techniques with experience in treating pain, injuries, or specific physical conditions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Availability to work 3 - 4 days per week, including one weekend day
Commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
