My sweet kitty boy gave us quite a scare! He's an old guy and I thought he was on his way out. He was severely anemic, refused to eat, lost weight rapidly, and hadn't had a bowel movement in days. His liver enzymes were normal, and he was urinating fine, so I we suspected the possibility of C. We decided not to put him through xrays as we'd assist tortured him enough that day so the dog said take him home give him some pain meds and bring him back next week of he doesn't get any better. So, course I decided to do everything I could to make him comfortable by treating his anemia, with a focus on kidney, liver (because we know those tests aren't always accurate) and on shrinking possible masses. I created a concentrated herbal decoction and administered 1ml 3x daily. Within 5-6 days, he was chasing squirrels again and begging for food from our neighbors! It's been a couple weeks now and my vet and I are keeping a close eye on him, but he's happy and having a good ol' time today. I'm grateful for my knowledge of herbal medicine. Plant medicine is for all.

Need to give herbal medicine to pets or kids but only have alcohol based tinctures?

This is a quick and easy trick!

I make a urinary and kidney strengthening tincture that my kitty is in need of, but it is alcohol-based, and he doesn't need any of that in his sensitive system. So, I use a makeshift double boiler on low heat to evaporate the alcohol out of it. In 2-3 hours you have a reduction that is ready to be reconstituted with water and administered to my sweet little kitt via dropper or syringe.

I commenced my Full Moon Castor Oil protocol last night, which entails taking five frozen castor oil pills over the course of five nights. The regimen comprises 5 pills 2 nights prior to, the night of, and two nights following the full moon just before lying down to sleep. This protocol aims to eradicate parasites in the liver and intestines. The frozen pills are designed to dissolve slowly at the Ileocecal valve, which connects the small and large intestines, thereby suffocating parasites that congregate in this area to feed. As the parasites are eliminated, they are expelled through the large intestines.

Finished the labor and postpartum gift for my neighbor. She was so excited and I got it to her the day she went into the hospital. Mama's milk tea, a labor room mist, tired ni**le oil and a healing body butter to help things snap back.
In the future I'll be adding in a leg cramp and swelling oil and some sitz bath salts to create a 3rd trimester and postpartum gift box.

Life as a forager. Sometimes when you are gifted such abundance you load "em up and take them home. I was fortunate to have had these land next to me as we were removing on old dead tree that was in danger of falling on a structure. Nature gives you what you need if you just pay attention.
