We are very excited to be collaborating the folks at Heart 2 Heart farms in Sherwood. We will have volunteer spots open for our patients to help on a working farm multiple times per week. The farm is a CSA and also raises livestock on site. Patients can learn many skills in healthy cooking, food prep, canning, fermenting, animal tending, farm maintenance and so much more. This is an opportunity for our patients to help heal themselves with exercise, proper nutrition and development of life skills. Our future plans include hosting support groups and classes on site. Thanks so much to Liz and Tyler for making this a possibility for my patients.
