The aches and pains of new parenthood (especially “newborn neck” from long feeding sessions) are real, but you don’t have to just push through.

A women’s health physical therapist can help you find comfortable feeding postures, learn safe lifting techniques, and even manage breast engorgement with gentle manual lymphatic drainage.

Like Kaylene Hernandez, PT, DPT shares, you can get expert support without the stress of leaving the house.

Love pickleball but find yourself dealing with nagging aches or feeling a step slow?

A movement screen can be a game-changer.

Think of it as a tune-up for your body, like a quick assessment of your mobility, balance, and strength to find any “weak links” holding back your game.

From there, a personalized performance training plan helps you move faster, react quicker, and play with more power and less pain.

Ready to level up your game and stay on the court longer? It all starts with understanding how you move.

Where does a powerful throw really come from (it’s not just your arm) ⚾

Here, rotational sports specialist Bobby Prengle, PT DPT breaks down the mechanics of rotational power. By focusing on how to drive force from the ground through the hips and core, we help athletes learn to move as a single, connected unit… not just isolated parts.

This detailed movement training is essential for any rotational athlete. It not only boosts performance but also helps protect the shoulder and elbow from overuse injuries by ensuring the entire body contributes to every throw or swing.

It’s about building resilience, from the ground up.

Whether you’re looking to add velocity or stay healthy all season, understanding your movement is the first step.

Let’s get to work.

New parent life is a whirlwind, but you can still stay strong and protect your body with a few simple strategies.

Switch sides when holding your baby, use your carrier correctly, and practice good posture when placing your little one in the crib.

Sprinkle in quick stretches after feeding and try some core exercises during tummy time (small habits add up!)

And don’t forget to include single-sided (unilateral) strength moves to balance out all those one-sided baby tasks.

Ever wonder how happier PTs = better quality of care for you? Here’s one example…

Many PTs in traditional settings are climbing a career ladder. At MovementX we're building a career climbing wall.

The general goal is often the same: get to the top. But with us, the path PTs take can be unique to their strengths and your needs.

🧑‍⚕️ For some of us, that’s by helping peers be more effective at treatment

🗺️ For other providers, it means leading teams to better help your community

🪴 For others still, it’s by finding new people to help and listening to how we can do that best

All while bringing best-in-class treatment to your doorstep, office, or anywhere we’re needed.

Because empowered PTs = better care for you ❤️‍🔥

What are your movement goals this fall? 🍁

Autumn is a time for change, and that means there’s an opportunity to change for the good!

For some, it might be to hit a new PR on their favorite lift

For others, it might be walking down stairs without pain in prep for holiday travel

For you, it might be adapting to a life change in a way that keeps you active

For us, it’s about looking at how we can make life better through movement and be there to help you do the same.

Recovery is where real progress happens, but the gimmicks and hype are endless. Here are some tips to cut through the noise from Chris MonPere, PT, DPT

✅ Focus first on the essentials: quality sleep, balanced nutrition, smart training plans, and stress management.

🤔 Once those are dialed in, feel free to experiment with tools like sauna, massage, or foam rolling.

🙅‍♂️ And skip the gimmicks… as in, never trade sleep for extra workouts.

Find the full guide of do’s, maybes, and don’ts in Chris’ latest article (link in our bio) 🔗

Remember, the basics always win. Train hard, recover smarter!
