You have the power to speak up. To step in. To be a safe friend.
Kindness is a choice—and it changes everything.

👀 Bullying isn’t always what you think.
It can look like:
🔹 Being left out on purpose
🔹 Rumors or online harassment
🔹 Name-calling or constant teasing
🔹 Threats or physical harm
Bullying can be silent—and still deeply damaging. If your child is hurting, struggling, or withdrawn, it may be a sign something’s going on.

Check in. Ask questions. Keep the lines of communication open.
Every kid deserves to feel safe. đź’›

Don't worry! If you missed the Blood Drive yesterday, there's another one near our Portland Campus!

🩸 Blood Drive Hosted by My Voice Music
đź“… Wednesday, October 8 | 11am-5pm | John's Marketplace on Powell
đź”— Schedule Your Donation Appointment: https://donate.bloodworksnw.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/97976

What if donating blood could do more than save a life? What if it could inspire one?

Ben Dudley of Free Guitars 4 Kids calls the guitar a “vessel for life.” To him, it’s not just a gift — it’s a bridge to confidence, connection, and self-expression.

We're proud to launch a special initiative that connects the life-saving power of blood donation with the life-changing gift of music. In partnership with My Voice Music and Free Guitars 4 Kids, we’re promoting a blood drive that also supports guitars for kids.

As part of this event, Trillium Family Services will receive 12 guitars for youth in our care — instruments that could help spark creativity, healing, and hope.

Donate blood. Save a life. Bring music to a child.

🧡 October is Bullying Prevention Month 🧡

Every child deserves to feel safe, accepted, and supported—at school, online, and at home.
Bullying doesn’t just hurt feelings. It affects mental health, self-worth, and even safety.
This month, we stand with children, teens, and families to say:
đźš« No more bullying.
âś… More kindness.
âś… More courage.
âś… More community.
Let’s raise strong kids and stronger communities—together.

Join us all month as we share tips, stories, and resources to prevent bullying and promote mental wellness.

đź’¬ You might be the reason someone holds on.

Teens and kids often turn to friends first when they’re struggling with suicidal thoughts. That means:
🌟 Your voice matters.
🌟 Your empathy could be life-saving.
🌟 You don’t need all the answers—just stay, listen, and help them find support.

Here’s what to do if a friend opens up to you:
1. Take them seriously
2. Don’t promise to keep it a secret
3. Tell a trusted adult or help them call/text 988 or contact the Trevor Project
4. Stay connected. Show you care.

Repost this to remind your friends: It’s okay to ask for help. And it’s okay to offer it, too. 💛
