Oregonians, please take a minute to take action on this important issue for naturopathic medicine!
🚨 ACTION ALERT! 🚨Our ND Pay Parity bill, HB3439A, is currently waiting for action at the Joint Committee on Ways and Means. It's time to let that committee know that Oregonians demand access to naturopathic medicine and that unfair pay by insurance companies is not acceptable. Reimbursement rates for NDs of around 50% of what MDs, DOs, NPs, and PAs receive are driving clinics out of business and leaving patients without their doctor.
HB3439A requires commercial insurers to pay NDs the same as they pay all the other provider types for the same service provided. This ensures the sustainability of small ND businesses, improves patient choice in healthcare, and bolsters the primary care workforce.
