Support for Clients and Therapists Amid Upcoming Care Oregon Changes.

We understand that many providers and clients are facing significant changes and challenges in the coming months due to the new Care Oregon out-of-network regulations. We want to acknowledge how difficult and uncertain this time may feel for so many. Please know that we are with you — and we are committed to supporting both therapists and clients as best we can throughout this transition.

Our practice is currently contracted with Health Share/Medicaid, as well as several private insurance providers. We have a team of therapists with current availability and are pleased to share that three additional clinicians will be joining us in September.

We offer a range of services, including in-person and virtual sessions for individuals (ages 9 and up), couples, families, and medication management.

If you have clients in need of care, please don’t hesitate to reach out through our website or contact us directly at info@pnwbh.com. We will do our best to connect each client with a provider who is the right fit and can offer timely support.

State-registered Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist or Clinical Social Worker Intern
(Sellwood-Moreland Area Portland, Oregon)

Small boutique-style group practice looking to increase the mental health workforce in our community by adding well-suited interns to support our Medicaid population. Interns will be full-time (32-hours/week) W-2 employees with a competitive reimbursement model, 401K, health insurance and more. Supervision provided.

Must be self-directed and able to navigate caseload requirements independently outside of supervision hours and administrative support.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Registered intern with the state of Oregon in the field of psychology, social work, counseling, and/or marriage and family therapy.
• Free from open investigations and/or disciplinary action.
• Must have passed or is registered to sit for the board licensing exam within 6-months of hire.
• Competency in using electronic POS and EMR systems or willing to learn for coordination of care.
• Basic knowledge of psychotropic medications.
• Must pass background check.

DESCRIPTION:
The right candidate is motivated to be a part of an integrated behavioral healthcare practice that provides medication management and therapeutic intervention to children, adolescents, families and individuals. Overall responsibilities include: assessment/diagnosis, treatment planning, individual, group, and/or marital/family therapy as caseload demands. Intern must have confidence with maintaining clinical records, taking payments, su***de intervention, and interacting with prescribing practitioners on a regular basis for therapeutic necessity. Trauma-informed or specialized training, a plus. Interest in children/adolescents and family work also a plus. EMDR –trained or certified also beneficial.
