THE PROCESS — Most mass-produced flower essences are created through a tea infusion, where botanicals are dried and then boiled. Primrose Apothecary’s botanical sanctuary ensures the highest quality florals, grown with love and intention in my secluded garden, free from outside influences, preserving its pure energy. When harvesting flowers, I use the note-pic method with specially designed floral shears, carefully extracting the botanicals and immersing them in spring water before a meticulous distillation process. After harvesting and distillation, a rigorous process removes all plant material, leaving behind a pure essence preserved in organic brandy made from grapes distilled from our garden. Each bottle is filled, labeled, and cared for by Felicia Howe, with immense attention to detail from garden to bottle, reflecting the love and intention invested in every handcrafted essence.

THE GARDEN — The quality care and intention that go into Primrose Apothecary’s garden and botanical sanctuary make it much more than just a garden; it is a place of profound purpose that elevates the entire community. I began my professional journey with essential oils roughly 15 years ago, inspired by their significant power in healing. As I explored the deeper layers of their chemistry and medicinal properties, I realized that these distilled versions of plants are potent powerhouses. Each essential oil is composed of hundreds of chemical elements, each providing unique benefits that work through the central nervous system and pass the blood-brain barrier to offer mental stimulation and therapeutic effects.

My fascination grew as I started to connect the dots between the physical, mental, and emotional impacts of these oils. For example, understanding tea tree oil’s ability to combat parasites and fungi led me to explore its potential to help individuals set emotional boundaries when dealing with parasitic energy. Through case studies and client feedback, I found that whether it was a placebo effect or not, tea tree oil had a profound impact on helping people find their center and maintain emotional boundaries.

This exploration paved the way for my foray into flower essences. Experiencing significant stress from work challenges, frequent travel, and an overstimulated nervous system, I found solace in flower essences. Unlike essential oils, flower essences work on the vibrational and energetic parts of our bodies, providing the needed support and balance. This personal discovery ignited my passion to delve deeper into the relatively unexplored world of flower essences, which held mystery and promise.
