THE BEST ! - by Chris R.

Dr. Struckmeier and her team have always been the best! Deborah has been my dentist since a referral from from my previous dentist, Dr. Jim Jackson, when he retired in the 90's. I have been with Dr. Struckmeier ever since and my original "chompers" (64 years) are still in GREAT shape thanks to her & her teams care and recommendations over the years. NOTE: I typically don't do surveys or ratings however; I am happy to do this for Deborah & her team because they have sooo earned it !

Trustworthy, competent dentist! - by Anonymous

We had a difficult time finding a real dentist that wasn’t a private equity-backed slop shop looking to run up a bill. We were so lucky to come across Dr. Struckmeier. She is a real pro, and from our first meeting, we were confident that she had our best interests at heart. She’s flexible in terms of scheduling and every member of the staff is delightful. If you’re looking for a trustworthy dentist, you’ve found her!

Not all sweet treats are created equal when it comes to how harmful they are for your oral health. Although no candy is genuinely good for your teeth, it’s important to realize that some candy is considerably worse for teeth than others. Dark chocolate is one of the best choices because it washes away easily, but sticky candies like caramels love to hang around and cause cavities. Moderation and smart choices are the key to tackling your sugar cravings. Which is your favorite candy? Let’s hear it below! ⬇️

If you’re considering veneers, it’s extremely important to see a licensed dentist to place them.

Veneer services from unlicensed individuals, or “veneer technicians,” may come with potential risks for infection and nerve damage, and an unlicensed individual may unknowingly place veneers over unhealthy teeth. Unsupervised dental treatment from unlicensed individuals has the potential to cause damaging complications for patients.

For safe and effective treatment, visit Deborah A. Struckmeier DMD for your veneers.

Have you noticed small notches near the gumline of your teeth? This could be tooth abfraction, a condition caused by excessive stress on the teeth from clenching, grinding, or an unbalanced bite. Over time, this stress weakens the enamel, leading to sensitivity, structural damage, and an increased risk of decay.

If left untreated, abfraction can worsen, affecting both the strength and health of your teeth. At Deborah A. Struckmeier DMD, we can help identify the cause and recommend the best treatment, whether it’s a nightguard, bite adjustment, or restorative care.

True or false: the tooth is the only part of the human body that cannot fully heal itself. This is true! Because it contains no living cells, tooth enamel cannot repair damage from decay or from wear. Only our team can correct these conditions. That's why it's so important to practice good oral hygiene and see us at Deborah A. Struckmeier DMD if you have any concerns.
