We are set up to give you the best care. 45-60 minutes for each visit and 100% of your time is with a Dr of PT - no assistants.

Specializations include orthopedic, pelvic floor, bike fits, VO2 max, personal training, pilates, running analysis.

Congratulations to our physical therapist from the NW clinic on being inducted into the Class of 2025 Hall of Fame!

“Dustin is a three-time national champion as part of the Distance Medley Relay national title teams in 2017 and 2018 and winning the 2018 national title in the mile. Overall he was a six-time All-American for the Wolves before closing out his career at Washington. Nading is still No. 2 in WOU history in the outdoor 1,500 (3:42:38) and indoor 3,000 (8:10:82).”

20 years ago today Mark Hatfield and Josh Kernen received their Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Three years later they would go on to start Bridgetown Physical Therapy in downtown Portland! 20 down…. 20 more to go?

Congratulations to our very own physical therapist Annika Hayman for not only qualifying for the Boston Marathon but getting a new personal record last week on the course! You are amazing! A true example of practicing what you preach as a physical therapist every day.

Our downtown clinic will be open from 7:00 am-12:30 pm on Sunday March 16th for the Shamrock Run. We will be inviting local run group, Team Red Lizard, and our current/former clients into our space for bag drop off, use real toilets, and to stay dry.

We are excited to announce that we are expanding our women’s health and pelvic floor physical therapy services this week by welcoming our newest physical therapist, Dr. Rebecca Slape. Rebecca graduated from Tennessee State University with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT). During her clinical practice, she has developed an interest in working with older adults, as well as in pelvic health. She has completed extensive specialty training in pelvic floor physical therapy from Herman & Wallace including yoga therapy and myofascial manual therapy techniques. Rebecca is an OutCare affirming provider, and enjoys working with patients of all genders and body types to improve bowel, bladder and sexual health. Additionally, she has extensive clinical experience working with hypermobility, chronic pain, and with neurodivergent individuals to make long lasting changes in daily function.

Outside the clinic, you might find Rebecca at a Winterhawks or Pickles game, playing TTRPGs with friends, or at one of her favorite local coffee shops. We are excited to welcome her to the team as we continue to expand our downtown clinic.

We know that as of 1/1/25 Providence Hospitals are no longer preferred providers for Aetna Health Insurance. We have had a few patients reach out today to double check that we are still a preferred provider. We want to reassure you that we are still in network and preferred providers for Aetna Insurance. We know that this is unsettling for many people in the Portland area. We are also taking new patients looking for physical therapy care in the Portland.

Thank you to everyone that voted in the Willamette Weekly Best of Portland Poll. Bridgetown Physical Therapy was voted the best physical therapy clinic in Portland for the third year in a row. It has been our honor to serve the Portland metro area over the years. Thank you for supporting us so that we can continue to support the people in the city to move better and play harder.
