Come to a new Somatic Dance Class and learn tools I use in practice ~ Wednesday @ 4/24 ( class size limited, reply to join) No dance experience necessary !!!

If you know me, you know I believe healing needs to be fun. For me, dance is a necessary outlet to let go of stress and feel a sense of Oneness. I wanted to give a shout out to the guides at for breaking trails all week long. They are experts at choreographing a day and a week of backcountry skiing that kept our group safe and shredding continuous fresh lines♥️

30 years ago I walked into a dance studio, terrified of what lay ahead. Improvisational dance I could do, but contact improv…it required an openness and vulnerability, mindfulness and connection. I was scared.

Letting go of inhibition, my body expanded into the space and the interaction of gravity and levity created bridges between myself and all the other bodies in the room.

Each time I entered a contact improv jam, I had to overcome the same fear - a fear of trust and being seen.

I still use the same courage and sense of gravity to connect with others, on and off the dance floor.

Along with many others, I have Steve Paxton to thank for pioneering a dance form and community that is full of potential and connection. The other side is having an amazing dance party today. RIP.
