Wow! Can I just brag about how incredible this family did working together!

This mama went to bed last night to be woken up by a contraction and a hour later…baby in her arms. This birth was a first, I’ve never coached a family over the phone on birthing/catching baby and birthing the placenta!!!!

They absolutely rocked it! So proud of y’all💙

SCHEDULE UPDATE! I originally had planned to take October off but have since shifted that to September. For any expecting mamas who had thought I was unavailable in October…. I now have 1 spot open.

I know I’m a few days late with our SB team member spotlight… life is life and I surrender to being fluid. 💫

Anyways… Our next spotlighted team member is Jessica Neely! She is the creatrix of . She is a birth and postpartum doula as well as an IBCLC!

This woman here has supported and walked with so many Sovereign Birth mamas! Anytime we have nursing obstacles outside of my knowledge I turn to her! To say that I am grateful for this Woman doesn’t even do her enough justice!

This little lady wanted to make a grand entrance and that she did! She came so quick I was only there for 8 minutes before she arrived! Mama worked hard and did a beautiful job breathing you down! So beyond proud of this family and what an honor to be able to witness this next chapter of their story❤️

Also to note a little… Sweet girl has one excited big Sister. A built in best friend 💫

Happy team member spotlight Wednesday!

Today we shift over to one of our Postpartum Doulas !
Did you know pp support with a holistically trained pp doula is built into your Midwifery package? I plan to do a whole post on this!

Now back to recognizing our dear Sister Krissy!

Krissy has supported so many mamas in pregnancy, in birth and in postpartum over the years! For now she is mainly focusing on postpartum work. What she brings to your postpartum visits is something truly special and deeply nourishing for both Mama and Baby! Her work really is an ART!

When she isn’t supporting Women or Mamas she tending to her ever growing homestead. She raises chickens, geese,ducks,goats and pigs! Am I forgetting anything Sister?

As many of my clients know… I’m really bad at saying goodbye at our 6 week pp-closing of care appointment. So I have found a way for us to continue to see each other.

Every other month SB hosts a potluck style gathering. A place where we connect, share stories and be present with one another. A place where we hold space for pregnancy, birth and Motherhood. We each bring a food item and I’ll bring a craft!

Who knows, maybe you’ll get to meet some of the gals from the team!

This space is for past and current clients. Babies are always welcome.
