March is National Social Work Month, a time to recognize the important role social workers play in senior mental health care.
In programs like ours, social workers help older adults navigate emotional challenges, connect with community resources, and advocate for their overall well-being. They support individuals and families through life transitions, stress, and mental health concerns with compassion and expertise.

Their work helps ensure older adults feel heard, supported, and empowered to care for their mental health.

Eastern Plumas Health Care’s Senior Life Solutions program provides outpatient mental health services for older adults coping with depression, anxiety, grief, and life changes. If you or someone you love needs support this year, we are here to help.
