It is time to register for the Day in the Ring show at the Scioto County Fair! Please pass the word to any and all families who may have a child that would be interested in this special kind of show. Now Hiring: Full-Time ABA Behavior Technician

Location: Piece by Piece Learning Center, Sciotoville, Ohio
�Schedule: Full‑time, 9 AM – 6 PM, Monday–Friday

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

* Comprehensive training provided: No experience? We offer full onboarding, including 40‑hour RBT training and on‑the‑job support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement individualized ABA intervention plans designed by a BCBA.
* Collect and document data on client progress to evaluate effectiveness.
* Teach communication, social, self-care, and other adaptive skills.
* Manage challenging behaviors using positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies.
* Collaborate in team meetings, share insights with families, and contribute to ongoing treatment planning.
What We’re Looking For:
* High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s in psychology, education, or related field a plus).
* Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification – training provided.
* Compassion, patience, strong communication skills, and ability to thrive in active, sometimes challenging environments.
* Ability to maintain accurate records and uphold professional, ethical standards.

Piece By Piece is excited to be approved to accept the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship. This scholarship provides more opportunities for our youth in Scioto County to receive ABA services.

In 2024, thanks to a grant from the Ohio 4-H Foundation and donors to The Dorothy Lewis, Freda and Roy Barnhart and Mary and Frank Jenkins 4-H Fund, Ohio 4-H Adaptive Adventures Camp was offered for campers who have unique needs that cannot be accommodated at a typical 4-H camp.
