I am trying to create sanctuary spaces in my garden. Places to sit, breathe and be. This is my latest project. This represents my spiritual journey that I have been on the past 35-37 years. Circles Representing a path with no beginning and no end, it symbolizes the eternal nature of the soul and cosmos. I know that our spiritual journey is a spiral and I have had so many full circle moments on my journey. So the circles represent all the full circle moments. The space in the middle is Ma, a Japanese concept of negative space. Those times where you sit in the silence. For me those are my meditative times where I sit in the silence and receive the answers and heal. If anyone knows me they know I love love love color. So for me to do all white pieces is stepping out of the box. But this piece called for white which represents purity and love. I have worked so hard on healing the abuse from my childhood and now I fill myself with purity. It also represents all the unconditional love that Kirby brought into my life and taught me what that feels like. 💜 The 3 circles for me represents the small one is my childhood and I grew and healed the second one represents that time. The large ornate one represents now and the future where I have become enlightened.
I hope others can just enjoy the simplicity of my artwork.
