Hello! My name is Kerri M.

Vercellini, and I am the sole operating clinician at Awaken Holistic Counseling Services, LLC; which was originally established in October 2016 in Newburyport, MA. Since inception, my business has expanded to offer TWO locations. In 2025 I moved to my primary location registered in Newburyport, MA to 135 McDonough St., Studio 324B, Portsmouth, NH and added a satellite location at 83 Lafayette Rd. in Hampton Falls, NH (in the same building as Delta Gardens) to continue serving my long-time Massachusetts clients. I specialize in Energy Psychology and Holistic tools; working to bring healing to the mind-body-spirit connection within my clients. My practice was created to give an alternative option for therapy and coaching; non-medication based and empowerment directed. I hold a License as a Mental Health Counselor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts AND in the state of New Hampshire. Additionally, I am a trained Holistic Psychotherapist & Coach. As of 2025, I hold many different roles within the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP); the leading organization for Energy Psychology in the world. You can see my website for those designations. I welcome my community members from all backgrounds and walks of life to utilize my services based on your individual needs and journey. As a Holistic practice, I am completely private pay with a 4-tiered sliding scale, but I do also have the ability to provide bill receipts for out-of-network benefit reimbursement from insurances, as well as accept HSA/FSA cards for payment. All services are paid for at the time of your appointment. I accept cash, card, and check for payment. I also provide a wide variety of education and support options for community groups and events, as well as speaking presentations and Private Services. Private services vary by price depending on the type and length of the service, and are provided in-person at either of my locations, on-location with my clients (within a 15 minute radius of the office), and also virtually. Hello all!
Sharing news of the FIRST EVER Safeway OPEN STUDIOS happening in in Portsmouth on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 from 2pm-6pm!
Awaken Holistic Counseling Services, LLC has their new Portsmouth, NH office location in this building in Studio 324B- and I will be hosting my OPEN STUDIO for everyone to come check it out and learn more about what I've got going on!
This event has healers, artists, and business owners all opening their spaces to the community!! It intentionally overlaps with other Open Studios happening in Portsmouth that day.
Lots of great things to explore at this venue as well!!

My Story- Awakened Transformation Using Energy Psychology

ABOUT: Hello! My name is Kerri Morrison, and I am the owner and therapist/educator at Awaken Holistic Counseling Services, LLC in Newburyport, MA!

Founded in October of 2016, I set out to create a new model of therapy based in spiritual awareness and energy medicine; truly bringing an integrated approach to the healing of my clients.

In February 2017, I set up shop above Starbucks on Market Square in Newburyport, and I am thoroughly enjoying the work that I do; helping people to “awaken” to the life they are meant to be living!

Upon entering my office, you will notice a healing energy, soft sounds, and a colorful and vibrant atmosphere. I regularly use “new Age” tools in the counseling experience (i.e. healing crystals, intuitive cards, etc.), and I also offer reiki supported counseling services.

I hold a License as a Mental Health Counselor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, a Certification as a Holistic Psychotherapist & Coach, and also Certification as a Reiki Practitioner.

Additionally, I became the State Representative of Massachusetts for the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) in October of 2017. Through this organization, I am bringing awareness of the scientifically supported research on the effectiveness of energy healing to the state of Massachusetts and all of its community members.

I provide a variety of privately paid counseling options and service types, available to individuals, couples, and families. I also offer community education events & workshops, as well as inspirational speaking presentations on holistic topics.

As a Holistic practice, I am unable to accept insurances, but I do provide a wide variety of education and support options for the community if you are unable to access privately paid services.

Private services are all personalized to the needs of my clients, and will vary in fees depending on the type and length of the service. Private services may be provided at my office location in downtown Newburyport, or on-location with my clients.
