Quirk Motors Facilitates the Much-Needed Purchase of Vehicles for Farmsteads of New England

Farmsteads of New England is very grateful to Quirk Chevrolet, for their exceptional service in facilitating the purchase of nine much-needed vehicles, that will play a crucial role in enhancing the transportation of services we provide to individuals with developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders.
The seamless purchase process was made possible by the outstanding customer service and professionalism demonstrated by the team at Quirk. Their attention to detail and commitment to making this transaction as easy as possible allowed us to acquire the necessary vehicles affordably and efficiently, ensuring we can continue to provide safe and reliable transportation for our clients.
The 2024 Chevy Equinox models are equipped with advanced safety features and ample space, making them ideal for transporting people of all abilities in comfort and safety. These new vehicles will allow us to expand our service offerings and improve our operational efficiency, directly benefiting the people we serve.
“We are excited about the growth of our organization, and these vehicles will be an essential part of that expansion,” said Mary Maybury, Executive Director of Farmsteads of New England.
“Farmsteads of New England is committed to providing meaningful, person-centered care to individuals diagnosed with intellectual/developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders. The addition of these vehicles is a critical step in enhancing our ability to serve our community, and we are grateful for the ongoing support of our partners like Quirk”, states Matt Cordaro, Chairman of the Board of Farmsteads.

How One Sky Services is creating supportive homes for our most vulnerable

02/01/2024

NH CHRONICLE
Join One Sky Community Services this Friday, February 2 at 7 PM to watch NH Chronicle on WMUR-TV, feature a story on one of One Sky’s successful housing efforts:

“Tonight, we address an often, unseen population suffering due to the housing crisis facing New Hampshire. The developmentally disabled often have needs that go beyond having a roof over their head, they need special often medically intense accommodations and supports to live comfortably and safely with dignity.

One Sky Community Services is trying to fill the immense need, one bed, and one house remodel at a time. We will introduce you to two fantastic people whose housing situation no longer meets their needs and bring you on their journey as they move into one of One Sky's newly renovated homes. As we learn, they are the lucky ones, as many in this vulnerable population are living in unstable and unsuitable conditions, waiting for a place to call home.” ----NH Chronicle

This story is one of many that will demonstrate the ongoing urgent and critical need for more affordable, specialized housing for individuals with developmental disabilities throughout NH.

Thank you to NH Chronicle for helping us to highlight this issue.
Please take a few minutes to watch two happy individuals!
