As spring comes to an end, it’s final full moon, the Flower Moon (also known as the Planting Moon), rises on Thursday May 23 at 9:53 a.m. and will appear full for about three days.

Its name, while feminine and ever-so enchanting, pays tribute to the abundance of pretty, new blooms that blossom during this time of the year. It will have a golden appearance while it rises in the east that later fades to white as it moves through the galaxy overhead.

We’re in Gemini’s earth season while the full moon is in Sagittarius, a fire sign. In many ways, the full moon occurring in the middle of Gemini season feels poetic and akin to a phoenix rising from the ashes.

Expect this time to be filled with passionate and in-depth conversations and a romantic flair for life, luxury and beauty.
