To say we are honored she’s part of our team would be an understatement. Ellen’s leadership has transformed our practice, team, and our ability to provide each and every patient with the care they deserve. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your leadership, our team is so grateful for you! Congratulations 🎉

“On behalf of the American College of Medical Executives, It’s our honor to present Ellen Roy with the Regent’s Award for 2025.

Ellen currently works as the Administrator for Harbour Womens Health, a 13 provider, private OBGYN practice in Portsmouth, NH where she oversees 50 staff. She started at HWH in 2015 as a front office manager and has grown into an impressive executive leader over the last 10 years.

Ellen serves as President of the Healthcare Leaders Association (HLA) and has been instrumental in advancing collaboration and innovation across our region. She recently hosted the private practice roundtable discussion at the 2025 HLA Conference, which was one of the most well-received sessions of the event. The year prior, she led a presentation on “Breaking Down Barriers of Depleted Resources Within the Healthcare Workplace,” tackling some of the most pressing operational and workforce challenges facing healthcare today.

She’s a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) — a well-earned recognition of her expertise and commitment to excellence in medical group leadership.

Beyond her leadership roles, she’s also a published author, with her 2024 MGMA article “Finding Revenue Despite Depleted Resources and Payer Confusion Over New Weight-Loss Medications” offering valuable insights into revenue optimization amid payer uncertainty.

Amid other community contributions, she also volunteers her time with the “Her Voice Foundation” a women’s domestic violence advocate.

Ellen will graduate with her Doctorate in Health Care Administration from Oklahoma State University this December.”
