Nervous system healing isn’t one solution or one track to healing.
Our nervous system is fluid, changing throughout our day, and this is normal. All levels are needed:
Our ventral vagal helps us stay connected, be present.
Our sympathetic helps keep us alert, keep us protected.
Our dorsal vagal helps us wind down, fall asleep, rest.
But sometimes, we may get stuck in one “level” and our body needs different strategies.
