Mental Health Matters: Know the Signs & Symptoms
Taking care of your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Sometimes, the signs aren’t always obvious—but recognizing them early can make a big difference.
Common Signs to Watch For:
• Persistent sadness, anxiety, or “empty” mood
• Feeling overwhelmed or easily irritated
• Withdrawal from friends, family, or activities you once enjoyed
• Changes in sleep patterns (too much or too little)
• Changes in appetite or energy levels
• Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
• Loss of motivation or feeling hopeless
• Increased use of alcohol or substances
• Thoughts of self-harm or feeling like a burden
What You Can Do:
• Talk to someone you trust
• Reach out to a mental health professional
• Practice self-care and stress management
• Don’t ignore what you’re feeling—your mental health matters
You’re not alone. It’s okay to ask for help, and it’s okay to take time to heal.

🌟 Student Spotlight: Claire Phipps

We’re proud to recognize Claire Phipps, a senior from South Webster High School, enrolled in our Allied Health program with Mrs. Lundy, who is currently on early job placement with Community Choice Home Care.

Through hard work and dedication, Claire has met all requirements for early placement—including strong attendance, successful completion of all graduation requirements and assessments, and maintaining a positive discipline record—while working at least 30 hours per week in her field of study.
