I never thought I’d be saying this in such a short time after moving into private practice, but we are in “waitlist” territory, so if you are thinking about reaching out for mental therapy for yourself, your marriage/relationship, or your kiddo/teenager….Don’t wait or hesitate, get on the list.

If you can't wait, or we aren't a good fit - we can provide the details of someone who is...

Also, PLEASE stayed tuned because ….New services are coming in late summer, which will allow for Kristen to serve more folks intentionally, but for now the demand is high and time is finite. getting on our waitlist will put you first in line for what is to come!

With humility and fierce compassion for all (because I am absolutely not a five star hotel, lol), I want to say....Thanks to the community for showing up for yourself! Putting in the work for yourself is so important and sacred and ... It puts food on a local family’s table 🫶🏼🙏

Do you wear many hats?

Employee.
Parent.
Partner.
Caregiver.
Friend.
Problem-solver.
Provider.

For many people, the list keeps growing.
Wearing many hats can be a strength.
It shows responsibility, commitment, and care for others.
But it can also be exhausting, especially when there is little time to rest, recover, or ask for help.
Over time, carrying too many roles without enough support can lead to:

Fatigue
Irritability
Trouble sleeping
Feeling overwhelmed
Difficulty focusing
Burnout

Not because you are weak, but because you have been carrying a lot.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth. You don’t have to do everything to be valuable. Sometimes the healthiest step is not working harder, but deciding what matters most right now.

You are allowed to take off a hat. You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to ask for support.

I am not here for your business, today.
I am here to ask that if you need help, to remind you that help is available.
I know that sometimes...this world is heavy, that life feels too much. You may be experiencing grief, shame, anxiety or depression, but before you leave us...please call 988 or locally 740-354-1010, or text HOME to 741741.
And, if I can help in any way whether you are a current or past client, stranger, colleague, friend, etc. I'd rather you call me a million times than attend your funeral. Text, call and I will remind you that a hundred times over, you deserve to live, you are worthy and you MATTER. Today's pain always changes, it's temporary. We will get through this moment.

You know, I get this question every day…😓
“How can I be regulated when the world is on fire?” 🔥
My response, “You are right. The world is on fire, but we can find our tribe and do the good work.” 🫂

I can’t promise that those in power won’t abuse it. 🤝‼️
But, what I can PROMISE is that THIS therapist will NEVER practice conversion therapy. 🚫
I pledge to use my “free speech” to stand beside my clients, not to harm them! 📣🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
