Hours: 35–40 hrs/week

We’re a small, family-run adult foster care home looking for a caring, dependable person to join our team in a dual role.
You’ll start each shift helping the owners with errands, light cleaning, and simple meal prep — then switch over to caring for our elderly residents in a warm, home-like setting.

🕒 Typical Shift: 1 p.m.–9 p.m. (weekend availability required)

What You’ll Do:
✅ Grocery shopping, laundry, errands
✅ Light cleaning & holiday decorating
✅ Assist residents with meals, evening routines, and companionship

Orchard Manor AFC, a beautiful adult foster care family home located in Posen, is looking for hardworking, compassionate Personal Care Assistant/Housekeeper - Per Diem and Subcontractors to work on a contract or per diem basis. These positions will fill in during our employee vacations/absences.
Adult foster care residents need constant care and assistance with their daily living needs. Primary duties include the supervision of elderly residents, cleaning, and cooking.

We need eager individuals who take initiative, like variety, and can easily switch from one task to another. Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Applicants are not required to have any medical training or certificate but should have some experience in caring for the elderly. If this describes you, please submit your resume for an opportunity to become a team member of our home.

We offer a flexible schedule, holiday pay, and a family atmosphere with a strong support system. You will be offered shifts on an as needed basis. You may refuse shifts, but must accept at least one shift per month to maintain your contract with us. Most shifts are short. We currently have more morning shifts available than evening shifts.

Here are the possible shift times:

Morning: 7:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

You will also have a custom onboarding experience to welcome you and set clear expectations about your responsibilities.

Orchard Manor AFC, a welcoming adult foster care family home in Posen, is seeking a compassionate and diligent Personal Care Assistant/Housekeeper. This role is ideal for someone who finds fulfillment in assisting elderly residents with their daily needs and enjoys a variety of tasks in a supportive, home-like environment.

The position is for 10-20 hours per week. Primarily evening with shifts being 4-9 P.M. and 5-9 PM. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, flexible, can lift 30 pounds, and able to transition smoothly between tasks. While no medical certification is required, experience in elderly care is preferred.

We offer a flexible schedule, holiday pay, and a family atmosphere with a strong support system. You will also have a custom onboarding experience to welcome you and set clear expectations about your responsibilities.
