And just like that, we’re already halfway through February, nearly 1/6 of the way through 2026! The momentum of 2026 has already been clearly demonstrated, as the Idaho State Veterans Home – Post Falls has earned not one, not two, but three prestigious awards! What an incredible start to the year for our facility, residents, and our team.
Out of more than 1,800 care and senior living organizations nationwide, only approximately the top 5% achieve the distinguished Top 100 recognition. We are proud to share that the Idaho State Veterans Home – Post Falls earned the 2026 Activated Insights Top 100 Customer Experience Award. This places us among the nation’s elite providers and reflects exceptional satisfaction results, a strong culture of listening, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement that sets us apart in a highly competitive industry.
In addition, based on a 12-month average, we scored in the top 15% nationwide, an outstanding accomplishment, earning us the 2026 Activated Insights Customer Experience Award.

U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in health care rankings and consumer guidance, evaluates nearly 15,000 nursing homes across the United States each year. Fewer than 19% earn distinction. This year’s ratings are the most comprehensive to date, incorporating 17 distinct quality measures that assess post-acute care outcomes, nurse staffing consistency, and patient-centered performance indicators. On average, U.S. News Best Nursing Homes provide 20% more total staffing per resident per day compared to the national average. Top-performing skilled nursing facilities deliver 80% more physical therapy per resident per day, demonstrating a strong investment in rehabilitation and recovery. In addition, the highest-rated nursing homes achieve impactful clinical outcomes, including a 15% lower hospitalization rate for long-term residents and a 33% lower emergency room visit rate for rehabilitation patients compared to national averages. This distinction reflects a commitment to excellence.
