The circus is coming to Camp Journey NW and registration is NOW OPEN!! We’re so excited to kick off another summer filled with laughter, friendship, and unforgettable moments under the big top.

From silly games to meaningful connections, this summer is all about letting kids be kids and making memories that last long after camp ends. We cannot wait to see returning campers and welcome new faces for another amazing fun-filled summer!

Tinker, Marigold, Shipwreck, Ponyo, and Spaghetti made it to Orlando for the COCA Conference! ☀️

We’re excited to spend the week learning from other camps, attending sessions, and collecting new ideas and resources we can bring back home. Our goal is always to make camp even better for our kids and families, and we’re grateful to be here!

Every summer, our camp is transformed into a magical world where campers, volunteers, and staff come together to create unforgettable memories. For 2026, we’re down to TWO incredible options:

🎪 Under the Big Top – Step right up to a summer filled with circus fun! Picture colorful tents, playful performers, carnival games, and the wonder of life “under the big top.”

🤠 Wild, Wild, West – Saddle up for a western adventure! Imagine cowboy boots, campfires, line dancing, and wide-open skies where the spirit of the frontier comes alive.

Now it’s up to YOU, our amazing Camp Journey community, to help us choose which theme will set the stage for next year’s magic. 🌟

Every child deserves the chance to just be a kid. That’s why COCA camps exist. Let’s continue to raise awareness for childhood cancer, this month and all year long.

This is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. There are 500,000 survivors of childhood cancer in America. Cancer treatments may harm the body's organs, tissues, or bones and cause health problems later in life. These health problems are called late effects as a result of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and/or stem cell transplant. Late effects in childhood cancer survivors affect the body and mind.

Late effects may affect organs, tissues, body function, growth and development. Other late affects are mood, feelings and actions thinking, learning, and memory as well as social and psychological adjustment. Late effects also have a risk of second cancers. We need safer, more effective cancer therapies without late effects for our children.
