The Community Recovery Center hosts an annual fall fundraiser called the Recovery Roundup. This event is used to help "Roundup" funds for scholarships and basic operational funds. The majority of the funds generated, that does not go to scholarships, will be put back into the local community. This event features a catered dinner, live entertainment, presentation of the Giles C. McCrary Award and a live and silent auction.
This year the event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 6:00PM at the beautiful Ragtown Gospel Theater.
This year the Recovery Center celebrates 43 years of service to Garza County and the surrounding communities and will be having an "extra" special event for the Recovery Round-up!
We are pleased to announce that our local artists that have played as the band for our headliners, Georgette Jones and Dion Pride, The Lone Star Cowboy Band, will be the headliners and entertainers this year! This band consists of talented West Texas artists and lead singer and band leader, Kelly Hastey. They will be playing classic country, original songs and classic and original gospel. Be sure to wear your dancin' duds because boots could be scooted during the evening!
