Mindful Wellbeing Counseling Services in Poteau is looking for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team! 💙

📍 Location: On-site in Poteau
🕒 Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
📚 Training Provided

Responsibilities include:
📞 Answering phone calls
📄 Sending referrals
🗂️ Assisting with administrative tasks as needed

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and willing to learn!

We are not seeking temporary summer help at this time.

‼️Exciting News from Mindful Wellbeing Counseling‼️

Mindful Wellbeing Counseling is growing! In addition to our home office in Poteau, we’re proud to serve the communities of Wilburton and now McAlester, Oklahoma.

We are currently seeking therapists and case managers to join our expanding team and help us continue providing high-quality, compassionate care to those we serve.

We’re also thrilled to share that Mindful Wellbeing Counseling has earned another three-year national accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) — a significant milestone that reflects our commitment to excellence and integrity in behavioral health services.

Additionally, we are an approved NHSC Loan Forgiveness Site, and we’ve just been recertified for another two-year term, offering valuable benefits to our employees and contract providers.

Mindful Wellbeing Counseling is also proud to support the next generation of professionals in the behavioral health field. We offer internships for students pursuing careers in counseling and mental health, as well as supervision opportunities for those in candidate status working toward licensure.

Caring & helping

Jill is a fun part of our team and a very helpful part as well. She brings compassion to her clients that we get complimented a lot on. She connects easily with them and shows true understanding. Jill is also a 3rd grade teacher on top of a behavioral health specialist. She is beginning her goal to become a Licensed Professional Counselor this August & we know she will succeed!

Witty, fun, & kind all in one.

Makailyn is passionate in her helping hand. She enjoys working in the mental health field and seeing the changes that impact her clients lives. Makailyn is just that, impactful. She can help even the toughest struggles through treatment. Makailyn is working on obtaining her autism certification and in the future will obtain her ADHD certification and ABA therapy certification. She uses strength based approaches and has seen so much progress in her clients with that approach. Her empathy, understanding, & genuine spirit make her a great therapist.

Chloe has discovered a deep passion for supporting others on their journey toward healing and growth. Currently, she serves as a case manager and rehabilitation specialist. These roles have allowed her to build meaningful connections and provide essential support to individuals in need. Her long-term goal is to become a licensed professional counselor and transition into the therapeutic side of the field where she can continue making a more direct impact through counseling.
