Kelly Falkner- RYT 500 Certified Instructor

Kelly began practicing yoga online at the suggestion of a friend, fell in love with it, and has maintained a dedicated home practice for years. In January of 2020, she decided to pursue a 200-hour RYT certification at Trailside Yoga and Beyond in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and came away from the experience with an enthusiastic determination to share “the big yoga” with others. She recently completed her 300-hour certification and is registered with Yoga Alliance as a 500 HR certified instructor. Kelly has been a teacher since 2002, first as an English teacher in the public school system, then as an EAST facilitator at Kiamichi Tech in Poteau and now as Employment Facilitator at the same campus. Her philosophy of teaching has always been focused on student growth, empowerment, and self-reflection. Her goals in the classroom have been to inspire positive change and to create a space where students feel supported and respected. Her approach remains the same in her work as a yoga instructor.
