Many times healthcare and law enforcement cross paths in the line of duty. We have worked side by side with each other. They have been there to help in many situations with patients. Our community has been faced with a great sorrow. For some of us we know the families personally, some of us identify with the families. Our hearts are heavy for the loss of a young man and grateful that the other officer is recovering. It’s in moments like these that you wished you could carry the pain for them. To just make it easier for the family and friends of a young man that was simply doing the job most don’t want to do. We take for granted time, we always think we have it. We take for granted the people god gave us. Please keep Walker LeMay’s family, friends and work family in your prayers for peace, comfort and strength in the day’s ahead. I truly believe prayer is one of the greatest tools we have in this moment.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.
