Yin yoga is a slow, deeply meditative practice that focuses on long-held, passive postures to target the body’s connective tissues. Unlike more active “yang” styles of yoga (like vinyasa flow), yin encourages stillness, surrender, and an inward focus. Poses are typically held for 3–5 minutes or longer, allowing time and gravity to gradually open the body while calming the nervous system. Experience Yin for yourself on Sundays at 11:45am with Kim Groark.
