✨ How are you feeling? ✨

We often move through the day without really checking in with ourselves. Taking a few moments to connect your mind and body can make a huge difference in how you feel both physically and emotionally.

Swipe through for a simple exercise to help you pause, reflect, and release tension. By regularly tuning in to how your body and mind are doing, you can improve your overall well-being and feel more aligned.

🌿 Take a deep breath, be kind to yourself, and remember—it’s okay to slow down and reset when you need it.

Save this post and take a few minutes each day to check in with yourself.

✨ How are you feeling today? Let me know in the comments!

🧠💪 Physical therapy is more than just eliminating pain and building strength—it’s about addressing the whole person. 💪🧠

To foster true healing, we must ask the right questions that consider the whole person. These conversations allow us to address deeper factors like stress, sleep, nutrition, and overall lifestyle—elements that can make or break a patient’s recovery.
✨ 1. What’s your biggest daily challenge?
✨ 2. How are you sleeping?
✨ 3. How would you describe your stress levels?
✨ 4. What are your current eating habits like?
✨ 5. Where do you find connection & happiness?
By integrating these insights into our practice, we create personalized treatment plans that empower our patients to achieve holistic wellness. 🏃‍♀️💚 Let’s reshape the future of physical therapy, one question at a time! 💬

Would you rather miss 2 weeks or 2 months of playing your sport or enjoying your favorite activity? Coming back too fast could lead to missing the activity you are trying to get back to.

I get it. We all want to be better yesterday. But coming back too soon could actually lead to missing more time doing the sport or activity you love. Healing takes time and we often lack the patience to let our bodies heal. This is why there are medications to help decrease swelling and pain.

As a PT, I am here to work with you to get you back as fast as possible using all the techniques I have acquired over the many years of practicing.

Want a few pointers as to when it’s ok to return? Download my free guide. Link in Bio.

So would you rather miss 2 weeks or 2 months?

✨ October is National Physical Therapy Month! ✨

This month, we’re celebrating the power of movement and whole-body wellness! Physical therapy is not just about recovery—it’s about helping your body function at its very best. Let’s also recognize how interconnected our health is, including the surprising ways gut health impacts movement, recovery, and overall well-being.

🌿 Your Gut Speaks—Are You Listening? 🌿

As a physical therapist, I witness the profound link between gut health and physical recovery every day. Your gut does more than digest food—it influences your immune system, brain, energy, and even your body’s ability to heal. When things are off, you might notice inflammation, joint pain, fatigue, or mood swings.

Ready to support your gut? Start by noticing how you feel after eating. Bloating, discomfort, headaches or low energy are signals your body is sending you. A simple change: Add more whole foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, while gradually cutting back on processed foods and sugar. These small shifts can lead to big improvements!

💡 Pro Tip: Keep a food journal for a few days to track what you eat and how you feel. It’s a powerful way to tune in to your body’s unique needs.

Your body’s systems are more connected than you think—so start listening to your gut. Your body will thank you! 💚

Preparing for surgery can feel overwhelming, but with a little planning, you can set yourself up for a smoother recovery! 🙌

5 Ways to Prep for Surgery Like a Pro 💪🏽
1) Do Your Pre-Op Exercises
They’re designed to help you have a successful post-op outcome. Focus on strength, range of motion, and reducing inflammation. The stronger and more flexible you are, the better your recovery!

2) Nutrition, Nutrition, Nutrition 🍎
Prioritize an anti-inflammatory diet rich in veggies, fruits, omega-3s, and clean proteins. What you eat before surgery matters for recovery!

3) Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate 💧
Staying hydrated can reduce post-op headaches and boost recovery. Aim for at least 80oz of water daily, and start adding electrolytes 3 days before. Check out my fave, LMNT at the “shop” link in my bio.

4) Master Your Mindset 🧠
Feeling nervous is normal, but going in with a positive outlook can help lower post-op pain and speed up healing. Visualize success!

5) Pre-Prep Recovery Foods 🍲
Stock up on healthy, nutrient-dense meals ahead of time. Think quality proteins, veggies, and low-glycemic fruits to help with tissue repair and swelling.

But what about after surgery?
You’ll need a rehab plan to get you back on your feet. If you’re not sure where to start, that’s where I come in! 💪 Let’s create a recovery plan that works for YOU.
