So glad we were able to help out!

We did it! Our new playground is complete! 🎉

Huge thanks to Samaritan Lodge #424 and Elvins Ionic Lodge #154 of Desloge for leading the fundraising effort, Masonic Home of Missouri for a 2-to-1 match, Great Mines Health Center for the safety mulch, and members of other area Masonic Lodges who rolled up their sleeves and made this happen!

We wanted to let you all know of a change for our Potosi Location for Friday hours only. Our new Friday hours are 7:30 am-4:30 pm for Medical & Behavioral Health. Pharmacy hours for the lobby are 8:15 am - 4:30 pm (closed for lunch from 12:15-1pm) & 8:15 am- 5:00 pm for Drive Thru. On Friday, April 4th, 2025, Great Mines Health Center (GMHC) Board Vice President, Linda Dickerson-Bell and Chief Executive Officer, Gregory A. Roeback, met with Mr. Jeff Cauley, the Director of the UniTec Career Center in Bonne Terre, Missouri. Mr. Cauley provided both guests a tour of the facility and met with students and faculty from multiple programs offered at UniTec. Mr. Roeback commented, “I was surprised that UniTec has so many programs, that they partner with eight school districts currently in the area and that their programs also include post-secondary students. I was also surprised to hear that they offer evening programs as well!”.

At the conclusion of the tour, Board Vice President, Linda Dickerson-Bell and Chief Executive Officer, Gregory A. Roeback presented a $5,000 donation to the UniTec Career Center on behalf of Great Mines Health Center. Mr. Roeback stated, “GMHC has grown its workforce as the health center has grown over the past several years, and the need for positions in such areas as Information Technology, Digital Media, Automotive Repair, Construction and certainly Health Services (among many others), has been an ongoing need for the health center and for many other employers in the region. Jeff Cauley and his team at UniTec are vital contributors to the area’s present and future workforce and to the economic development of the region. Great Mines Health Center and its Board of Directors are proud to support Mr. Cauley and UniTec in support of their mission.
