Monday, February 23rd, 2026, will be an asynchronous virtual learning day. All NPSD buildings will be closed. All afternoon and evening activities are cancelled on Monday.

Due to the predicted inclement weather, all Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) buildings and schools will be closed on Monday, February 23.

TCHS campuses will operate under a Flexible Instructional Day (FID).

Office staff are expected to work remotely. Staff with questions should contact their direct supervisor.

From the school - After continued monitoring of weather conditions, road safety, and campus accessibility, Overbrook School for the Blind will operate on a two-hour delayed opening tomorrow, Thursday, January 29th, with school beginning at 10:00 AM.

This delay allows additional time for road conditions to improve and for our facilities team to ensure that campus walkways and entrances are safe for students and staff.

Superintendent Update #57: 2 Hour Delay 1/29 & 1/30
Good evening Parents and Guardians, This is Stephen Rodriguez, Superintendent of Schools.

Due to the extreme cold, and the continued conditions of the sidewalks, side streets, and corners in the district, we will have a 2-hour delay for all students and staff for both Thursday, January 29th, and Friday, January 30th. Please be reminded that on two-hour delayed openings, we do not serve breakfast.

Transportation & Arrival

OSB transportation services will operate on a two-hour delay.

If your child’s local school district is closed, transportation will not be provided.

If your child’s local school district is operating on a two-hour delay, OSB transportation will follow the same schedule.

Students will enter the KAC lobby through the automated doors upon arrival to reduce heat loss and support safe entry.

Good afternoon Parents and Guardians,

Due to many snow and ice covered sidewalks and corners in the district used by our walkers, we will have a 2-hour delay for all students and staff tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28th. Please remind walking students to be careful traveling to and from school and avoid walking in the streets wherever possible. Also, remember that on two-hour delayed openings, we do serve lunch, but we do NOT serve breakfast.

Debido a la gran cantidad de aceras y esquinas cubiertas de nieve y hielo que usan nuestros caminantes en el distrito, tendremos un retraso de dos horas para todos los estudiantes y el personal mañana, miércoles 28 de enero. Les recordamos a los estudiantes que caminan que tengan cuidado al ir y volver de la escuela y que eviten caminar por las calles siempre que sea posible. Además, recuerden que, en los horarios de apertura con dos horas de retraso, servimos almuerzo, pero no desayuno.

Due to road conditions Spring-Ford SD and North Penn SD will have virtual days. This means TCTS will not provide transportation for school students within those districts for Tuesday, January 27th. Pottstown SD is also virtual now. No school transportation for Valley Transit or TCTS.
