Just imagine! We must do something! So speak up!" People have some strong opinions about Stranger Things including a subplot about the character Will's turmoil over his sexuality. As a therapist, I'm more interested in the coherence of Will having same-sex attraction and if the topic is treated accurately for its 1980s time period. In this video, I assess whether or not Will's sexual attraction development makes sense in light of his story and personality, and what we can learn from the portrayal of him disclosing his struggles.
