Alan Chambers, the former and final president of Exodus (the premier umbrella organization for ex-gay ministries) who shut it down in 2013 and embraced pro-gay theology, was just arrested for soliciting what he believed was a 14-year-old boy, but was actually a detective. The media and LGBT activists are spinning this as an indictment against ex-gay ministries. But the fact is Chambers has been opposed to our work for at least 15 years. So, is his downfall a sign of hypocrisy or the outcome of refusing to work on his root issues and instead embracing a doctrine of "pure grace" that doesn't require repentance and transformation?
