There’s just something about wandering a Christmas tree farm that brings all the childhood magic rushing back. The crunch of frost under boots, the smell of pine in the cold air, the way everyone suddenly slows down and soaks in the moment.

Let’s chat about a very common question:

When it comes to taking elderberry syrup, it is recommended you take it daily during cold and flu season on a proactive measure.

Shall you not feel well it is recommended you take it every 2 to 3 hours until your symptoms subside. That allows the extract Elderberry to bind to your unhealthy cells and block them from entering your healthy sales and replicating. This is how Elderberry is proven to reduce cold, flu, and upper respiratory track infections, severity and duration by 2 to 4 days.

The common question is can I also take the Gummies every 2 to 3 hours and this is a very insightful question given the fact that there are other ingredients besides elderberry in the Gummies.

My answer unfortunately is not clear cut, it is proceed with caution and listen to your body. Solely because of the zinc that is in the elderberry gummy’s. Zinc can sometimes upset your stomach so you could taken 2-3x per day, but I would just listen to how your body responds. If your stomach does not get upset, you can take it three times a day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner and in between you can add elderberry syrup.

Even when we’re worn down, God’s care shows up in the little things Because as moms, we don’t get sick days — life doesn’t stop! And I don’t say that as a complaint. Yes sometimes it’s crazy hard but it is the greatest blessing in the entire world. I would have it no other way.
