Dominate Today Recovery Living

Dominate Today Recovery Living Dominate Today Recovery Living is a network of upscale recovery houses for men and women in Montgome Recovery can do wonders and provide light in the darkness.

It's a very sad occurrence when we watch people we know die from the disease of addiction every single day. You can add to the stigma and treat it a certain way or you can be a genuine human being and help find the solution. If you, or someone you love, is going through the perils of active addiction PLEASE reach out. I don't care if we have never even talked, we will do everything in our power to make sure they get into treatment and have sufficient aftercare to provide them a greater chance at success. We have helped hundreds of people over the years who will tell you the same exact thing. And if you think you'll never amount to anything think again... We have guys and gals that got sober and:
- Go to college
- Run their own successful companies
- Got their dream job
- Successfully got off paper / got their driving privileges restored
- Are best friends with their families again
- Have gotten married and had children
- Have found new hobbies
- Went back to playing sports
- Met amazing new friends
- And much, much, more...
But most importantly, they moved on to helping the next person. If you're not an addict but know someone who is struggling, when is the last time you reached out? They may not take your help at that moment but do you know how much even a one minute conversation can do sometimes?

A personal note from the owner on our 8th Anniversary:

It's a very sad occurrence when we watch people we know die from the disease of addiction, you can add to the stigma and treat it a certain way or you can be a genuine human being and help find the solution.
Being the mother of two recovering addicts, I was at my wits end trying to save my children. After a revolving door of treatment, court dates, and hospital stays we finally decided to try a recovery house. What we found was that the concept of sober living made a lot of sense. We also found that the majority of the recovery houses in our area were in bad neighborhoods, with little supervision, and questionable standards. Looking at the subpar living environments that were available, we thought that there had to be a better option. But there wasn't... So we decided to do something about it.
Eight years ago today we opened our first house on Charlotte St. Our mission was to raise the standard of recovery living, to not just provide a house but an actual HOME where those in recovery could find the structure and support needed to rebuild their lives.
Many people have come to us having lost everything because of their addiction; from relationships with family and friends, their home, their job, their health, their personal belongings, and most importantly THEMSELVES.

By joining our program, and following our recommendations, they were able to start living again. They made new friends in our houses that understand what they were going through and found support through their ups and downs. They set realistic goals for themselves. They stopped procrastinating and started taking action to get back on track. And although it may have been hard sometimes, they did the work and slowly started to see their lives improving. Little by little, day by day, things get better when you continue to do the next right thing. Until one day, they woke up and realized all that they have accomplished and how very far they have come. From being broken and hopeless and wanting to die, to happy and healthy and truly grateful for life.
Recovery can do wonders and provide light in the darkness. We have countless people that have gone through our program who will tell you the exact same thing. When they came to us they thought they would never amount to anything and now they are clean and sober and have better lives than they could have ever imagined.

Over the past 8 years we've helped many of our people do amazing things like:
- Rebuilt relationships with their families
- Got custody of their children
- Made amazing new friends
- Fixed their finances
- Got their driving privileges restored
- Bought a car
- Successfully got off paper
- Got their GED
- Went to college
- Got their dream job
- Run their own successful business
- Have gotten married
- Bought a house
- Have had happy, healthy babies
- Have found new hobbies
- Started exercising
- Went back to playing sports
- Were able to concentrate on getting healthy (physically and mentally)
- And much, much, more..
But most importantly, they moved on to helping the next person.

I am so very proud of the program we have built, and all of the people we have helped along the way. And would like to thank everyone for your support over the past 8 years. It truly means the world to me and my family.

With Love,
Carey
