Since many of you already know that Stoffel & Pam will be relocating to VA in the next year or so, we figured we'd share some trail cam footage from outside of our campsite. We sleep about 10' from this camera and our house will be about 800' north of here.

This is why Pam is intentional when training Stoffel's alerting (barks). Do we want him barking at guests upon their arrival? No. But we also practice teaching him when it's appropriate to alert mom... in the event of a bear, coyote or a bobcat!

our AC decided to go on vacation and Stoffel has officially boycotted summer. I keep trying to explain that he's a working dog from the south, but no. he refuses to move from his personal fan.

luckily our AC guy is amazing and will be here tomorrow to 🤞 get us back to cool.
