Walking is one of the best things you can do for your physical and mental health. People of all ages, fitness levels, and backgrounds are welcome to attend these free, ongoing events.

After a brief health discussion from a healthcare provider, participants will spend the rest of the time enjoying a healthy walk at their own pace. You are encouraged to ask health questions and socialize with others in a fun, relaxed setting.

Free water bottles will be available to the first 25 attendees.

This FREE program is offered by the Walter and Irene Baran Schuylkill Family Medicine Residency Program in cooperation with LVPG Family Medicine–Schuylkill Medical Plaza. NO Registration necessary.

When chest pressure struck 82-year-old brewery icon Dick Yuengling, every second mattered. At LVH–Schuylkill, an MI Alert was called, and he received clot-busting therapy there before being transferred to LVH-Cedar Crest for a heart catheterization procedure.

Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill continued its heartfelt tradition of hosting the Annual Veterans Breakfast, bringing together more than 200 veterans and active-duty military members for a morning of gratitude and community support.
From patriotic music to personal stories of service, the event was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our military heroes.

Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill has been reaccredited as a Chest Pain Center by the American College of Cardiology, reaffirming its commitment to rapid, lifesaving treatment for patients with cardiac symptoms.

Accredited hospitals must have physicians, nurses and hospital staff who can rapidly and efficiently provide lifesaving care with evidence-based and standardized methods. This reduces a patient’s length of stay, decreases readmissions and leads to better patient education and improved patient outcomes.

We offer advanced, lifesaving treatments for serious heart conditions like STEMI, including procedures such as coronary intervention and ECMO.🫀
