Extreme weather doesn’t just affect homes and roads... it affects mental health, too. If you're feeling overwhelmed, irritable, or emotionally drained is a common response to disruption and stress; you’re not “weak,” you’re human.

If being snowed in has affected your mental health, please send us an email at info@empowerthemind.org and allow our counselors to help you get back to feeling like yourself!

✨ Opposite Day (mental health edition) ✨
When your go-to reaction makes things worse, try the gentlest opposite.

Anxious → take a tiny step
Low → change rooms or text once
Burned out → rest first
Self-critical → be kind

Small. Safe. Intentional.
Sometimes the opposite is the medicine. 🤍
