My sister-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer after having her very first mammogram performed. It is a reminder of the importance of medical screening and why these tests are in place. Mammograms, Pap smears, colonoscopies: none of these examples are pleasant but they are so important.
Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and in your prayers as she begins chemotherapy tomorrow.
