When we are born, we have full range of motion of our body parts, because we're brand new.
As we age, we use certain parts of our bodies more than other. Meaning, we create 'movement grooves' or 'movement patterns' that are sometimes one-sided. This means that we can develop movement patterns that move better in some ranges than others.
To address concerns for a joint that does not move well, we need to assess and address this and see what can be done (stretch what is tight, strengthen what is weak) in order to course-correct for this.
