I trained in a gym that offered Rock Steady. I was so proud of the trainers at the Lexington Ave gym helping and empowering the amazing people battling parkinsons disease.
It's October and it's breast cancer awareness month and I can say with confidence that most of us in one way or another have been affected by this nasty disease. Recently I saw on the Today Show, Boxing against Breast cancer and I was inspired. Although I may not be the Blonde Boxer anymore I am Maureen with a passion for Boxing. I'm not sure how many people are aware but September is uterine/endometrial awareness month (peaches). Next year I would like to start a yearly peaches boxing against uterine cancer awareness. Anyone who is interested PM me. It's seriously time to kick cancers ass and what better way then with boxing gloves.
