Our residents loved handing out candy at our Trick or Treat event with some dressing up in costumes. The kids were excited not only about the candy, but also the chance to play games with each other. A fun day for all!

Barbara, Beverlee and Dorothy joined in the craft of making small pumpkin decorations. They each sewed around the edge of the circles. As they pulled the strings to form the shape of the pumpkins, they started to stuff them with polyfill and shape them into pumpkins. Afterwards, stems, leaves, berries and pine cones were glued to the top to finish off the cute pumpkins. It was a great time to grow together in crafting and conversions to build friendships.

During the first week of fall, we decided to make a pumpkin spice cake. Marilyn and Marcia joined in the baking. Everyone had an opportunity to have a piece of cake!
