We are always blessed when Diesel and Luigi come to visit. Diesel is a 12-year-old miniature horse, and Luigi is 3 years old. Our residents line up for the visit, as they can't wait to hug and cuddle the horses. Expressions and smiles say a thousand words! Our next visit is scheduled for October. As the weather is starting to show hints of fall, we managed to go on another picnic. We had cloudy skies, but it was still a wonderful outing. This time we went to Eglon Beach, and with the smell of salt water in the air, we could imagine that it was the ocean rather than Puget Sound. We are hoping that September will hold out, and we will be able to fit another picnic into our schedule!

One of the favorite crafts that our residents love to do is the jewelry design class. We do this twice a month since it is so popular. Dorothy, Ramona and Beverlee each designed their necklaces and string them on jewelry wire. They have fun and get to take their design with them when they are done! Do you like to make jewelry?

We took a trip to the Silverdale Waterfront for another fabulous day and a picnic lunch. It was great to get some sunshine and enjoy the time outside!
