Clifton Hollow Animal Hospital is a small animal veterinary facility whose practice philosophy stems from preventative medicine and nourishing the human-animal bond. We officially opened our doors in late summer of 2013 as a husband and wife veterinary team. In an area where more and more corporate veterinary chains seem to be cropping up, we wanted to bring more of a family atmosphere approach, w

here people could bring their cherished pets to receive personalized care and individualized attention. In the months and weeks that preceded our grand opening, we worked tirelessly to assemble a team of highly skilled veterinary professionals that not only possesses training and experience in animal medicine, but also exemplifies our practice philosophies. We wanted to create a setting in which we could merge our professional lives with the individual passion for animals that each of us share. The result is a warm, welcoming environment where our clients and patients can feel right at home. At Clifton Hollow Animal Hospital, we offer a full range of animal health care services to help manage the wellbeing of our patients. Our focus is primarily on preventative medicine because we believe it provides a foundation for a lifetime of good health, however, we also offer an extensive list of other comprehensive services to address whatever needs our patients may be facing. From routine exams to advanced diagnostic testing to surgical services and more, we want to become your trusted resource for all of your pet’s veterinary care needs. The friendly, knowledgeable staff at Clifton Hollow Animal Hospital recognizes the important role that your pet plays as a part of your family, and we invite you both to become a part of ours. 🍦🐾 Cool Down with Pet-Approved Ice Cream! 🐾🍦

Summer is heating up, and your furry friend deserves a sweet (and safe!) way to chill. Try this simple, vet-approved “ice cream” recipe your pup will love:

🧊 Frozen Banana Peanut Butter Pup-sicles
Ingredients:
🍌 1 ripe banana
🥜 2 tbsp peanut butter
🍦 ½ cup plain Greek yogurt or goat’s milk
✨ Optional: a sprinkle of crushed dog treats

Instructions:

Blend all ingredients until smooth.
Pour into silicone molds, ice cube trays, or paper cups.
Freeze for 3-4 hours.
Serve and enjoy those happy tail wags! 🐶

When you’re snuggling your pet at home, take a moment to feel for any new lumps, bumps, or abnormalities. It may seem small, but it could be the first sign of something serious.

Bronx’s amazing family noticed a mass during some cuddle time — it turned out to be cancer on his spleen. Thanks to early detection, Bronx had surgery and began chemotherapy. Today, we're thrilled to share that Bronx is in remission! 🎉💪
